Capture sharp, detailed images at depths as great as 200' with Ikelite's 200DL Underwater Housing with Dry Lock Port Mount and Vacuum Valve for your Panasonic Lumix DC-S1 or DC-S1R full-frame mirrorless camera. An Ikelite bulkhead connector with a manual hot shoe connection enables reliable electrical triggering of optional, external strobes. Using the optional #46032 DL3 DS Link TTL converter and hot shoe will allow for TTL operation with compatible Ikelite DS strobes; non-Ikelite strobes will work in manual mode only.

Ergonomic mechanical controls, including push buttons, knurled knobs/dials, and levers, afford access to most camera functions. Built for durability, the enclosure is made in the USA from a corrosion-resistant polycarbonate and ABS plastic blend. It's white on the front, top, sides, and bottom, but clear in the back to allow you to monitor the O-ring seal and maintain your view of the camera's rear controls. The supplied aluminum tray with a left-hand quick release grip affords improved balance and handling, while offering an attachment point for an optional lighting arm.

The housing ships without a required lens port, and accepts all Ikelite Dry Lock (DL) series dome and flat ports for a broad array of zoom, macro, and wide-angle lenses. See the Port Chart. The DL port system accommodates lenses with large diameters, and provides added security against leaks at the surface, thanks in large part to the included vacuum valve for checking watertight integrity before the dive. You'll need to purchase the required pump in order to remove excess air and actually create a vacuum.

question

Is there not a frame or handle that attaches to the base of the housing to hold on to.. or a flash?
Asked by: Julius W.
Yes, the housing ships with a single tray mount and quick release handle. A second (right) quick release handle can be added by incorporating the Quick Release Handle with Extension (4077.02): https://www.ikelite.com/products/quick-release-handle-with-extension?variant=31336950534

question

Would this be overkill for using the camera in rainy or snowy conditions?
Asked by: Michael
The housing is designed to withstand 200ft of water pressure so it'll certainly keep your camera dry in rainy/snowy conditions. That being said, you may find it to be relatively bulky for the application. It would be a good choice if you want to take it underwater eventually.
