Great camera for the budget & quality. One of the best start up cameras

Great value!

Good quality at a bargain price. Everything works as advertised, except there is noise in dark areas of the image unless I overexpose 1-2 stops. I guess that means the true minimum ISO is actually 400 or even 200, not 800. Another odd thing is the camera won't balance on my gimbal, even though the camera and lens are within the weight limit. I suspect the unusual form factor of the Z-Cam confuses the gyro in the gimbal. Nonetheless I plan on buying a second E2C body, and maybe a bigger gimbal.

stopped working less than a year old

was operating normal till it randomly shut off and now wont turn back on. great camera footage but what ever this bug is. its annoying and cant find a fix for it so im like $300 in on payments with a B&H Credit card and now i have a dead camera. really not happy about this. i treat all my gear good and there is no reason for this camera to stop working out of the blue.

Small and versatile

Can be mounted to a drone, or a remote cable skycam. Multiple ways to control and preview the image. Don't forget to mount an antenna for low latency mobile WiFi monitoring/control. Works with Commlite EF to MFT lens speed booster with snug fit. Works with NDI and native SSP protocols in OBS studio. Small monitor displays peaking, zebra, crop, center among obvious. @coonandco

Great Affordable Camera

This is a great entry level camera for the price. It may not have all the bells and whistles as the high dollar camera but it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg at the same time

Great little camera for remote control use

It is a very affordable model and thus suitable for uses where there is a risk of damaging or losing the camera. Still it has surprisingly good image quality. I am regularly using the camera at 3200ISO without any problems and the dynamic range seems to be close to what was advertised. Batteries last forever and the internal h265 recordings are of nice quality. Great build quality and very sturdy construction. The only issue with this e2c model is that the locking pin of the MFT mount is slightly smaller than on most MFT mounts and thus the lens can move a tiny bit when focused. So if one wants to use this with a follow focus, then a lens adapter with separate support leg would be needed.

Your "Specifications" is a bit confusing. It lists SD cards under "External Recording," and no mention of recording Raw or ProRes to a recorder. 4k 422 10bit ProResHQ to an Atomos NinjaV while recording internally at 10bit h265 to an SD card at the same time?
Asked by: s
You can record externally to an Atomos or Blackmagic Monitor/Recorder in ProRes and record internally at the same time however you can not do ProResRaw and record internally at the same time.

I'm interested in buying this camera but will my canon lens be of use with this camera. I have the 24-70mm lens. Also, please let me know if this camera be use for a video conferencing using the Cisco WebEx Conferencing?
Asked by: Arnel
The Z Cam E2C camera comes with a native Micro Four Thirds lens mount, and in order to mount a Canon EF lens, such as your 24-70mm, you would need a lens adapter to convert the Micro Four Thirds mount to accept EF lens, such as a Metabones Speedbooster (SKU: MESPEFM43BT4) or a Viltrox EF-M1 Lens Mount Adapter (SKU: VIEFM1). While the Z Cam E2C does support streaming through an IP ethernet connection and through the Z Cam Software for streaming, Webex currently only lists support for USB connected cameras. That aside, the Z Cam E2C will work with many other popular streaming platforms.
