    Like it says...

Using it with a Z7 as a remote trigger for bird photography. Really great that I can control all settings within a given mode-in this case, shutter priority. Simple and elegant.

    Simple, intuitive, it just works

SnapBridge does some things right, but it lacks the overall capabilities of this device. I use it when doing Milky Way photography as it gives me full control of my Z7ii without touching it. Very highly recommended.

NO need to pour water about the device. Everything works fine BUT ! German engineering is not yet superb. Only one thing does not exist here - you cannot see real results via phone (only imitation of the picture). Shame on this lack. Yet, It still 4 big stars, is it not?

    Perfect hardware, poor software

This is a neat little remote control. The hardware is simply *brilliant*, really. It is tiny and fits right into my L-bracket without obstructing the camera mount in vertical mode, it does not protrude out. For basic functionality, it also does not need that cable that comes with it, it gets the power through the connection. The cable is only needed if you want to transfer images to your mobile phone. This is the smallest remote control that I know of. Now, for the software, that is really the limiting part. It is a mobile app, free download and updated as needed. It works with several cameras at the same time, you can trigger them individually or at the same time. As long as you remember the camera's serial number, you know which one is which, there is no naming option. However, handling is very clumsy to say the least. I can get over the fact that they use accurate exposure times (1:04 instead of 1 minute, 32 s instead of 30 etc.), but using this for a simple star trail is just plain cumbersome. It has a very advanced timelapse functionality, but is missing a dedicated intervalometer function where all you want is back to back images with as little interval as possible. And then there are lots of idiosyncrasies, such as the timelapse not accepting a 1 second interval, it needs at least 2 s, to give the camera enough time to process data. This is crock, my camera's built-in intervalometer allows for a 0.5 s interval! Lots of these little pitfalls here. I sent them an elaborate email with lots of suggestions for improvements, but have not seen any of these implemented. I do use this on two of my Z6 cameras (not on the Z6II where I can do everything with built-in timing). Still hoping to see an improved software.

The Foolography Unleashed N2 Smartphone DSLR Remote for Nikon Z6, Z7 Cameras works as advertised. I have the Nikon Z7 and the devise fits nice and tight even with my L bracket attached. The connectivity is quite good. The operation is simple and easy to understand. Highly recommend this as a remote for your Z6 or Z7 cameras.

Scary small, but that's good, I think.

I've only plugged it in once and tested it, and it does everything advertised....so far, seamlessly. So, for that it gets 5 stars. It's tiny and, for that it also gets 5 stars. It works well with my L-bracket (Kirk) and, for that it also gets 5 stars. But, I fear it's so small, that I'll lose it and, for that, I give it five stars (if I lose it, it's my own dang fault). I'll say that the image view on my iPhone is pretty low resolution and even pixelated, but that doesn't concern me (fact is, I'll likely not even use that feature for my purposes)...So, yes, I'm glad I bought it, and I know it'll get lots of use (if I don't lose it - LoL), and I'd buy it again. It's good.

    Worst Product for Photography

This product only did one thing, allow you to adjust your camera's settings; that's it! You cannot transfer files from your camera to your smart device. The picture you are given to review on your smart device is highly pixelated which does not allow you to properly view your picture settings. If I were to go out on a limb to say, it is about 1 pixel per square inch; if that! Connectivity to your smart device drops every so often, it is not a reliable one. Unfortunately for me, I only travel to the US every so often and cannot return this item within the prescribed window. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of a product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT for any level photographer.

I got to take this out and test it shooting some seascapes, I like being able to step back and consider my settings on the phone. Stays connected which is great.

The Foolography Unleashed 18 N2 Smartphone DSLR Remote for Nikon Z6, Z7 Cameras does not provide any image preview. It does have Instant Photo Review, so you can see what you photograph right away. This is only designed to work with the Unleashed app. This is quite fast to use.

I've got the Z7 with the Kirk L-bracket and it fits fine (I was concerned about this, too, but took the leap of faith). It's a tight fit, so I'll have to see how easy it is to get out. (Where have I heard that before?)
