The cover mostly prevents spills, rain, and residue when I have to work on my laptop outside. However, the cover does not adequately fit around some larger keys, making it rough around the ridges. On lengthy use, these ridges form pockets that require regular smoothing out.
It sticks to the keys and looks like it's wet or oily. Unappealing. Works fine otherwise though.
