would this work outdoors for a long term construction project? meaning would it work during rain, cold, heat etc.
This protective housing offers additional protection against rain, dust, mud, and debris for prolonged period. This case does not protect your camera against extreme cold and heat.

No it will not work on the Hero & Black. There is no SupeSuit Housing for the GoPro Hero 8 Black at this time.
