f-stop Kashmir UL Reviews

Light, roomy and well protected

The Kashmire UL 30L is light, has plenty of room and the cube perfectly holds and protects my Sony 7RIII, Sigma 20-70 mm lens, Sony 16-35 mm lens and Sony 70-200 mm lens. There is plenty of room left over for jacket, lunch, hat, gloves, etc. Best pack I have ever owned.

Internal Frame Makes a Difference

As a landscape photographer, my ability to carry gear over distance is always a challenge. The Kashmir keeps the most essential parts of other hiking-centric packs, the internal frame, and brings the best elements of photography bags to create the right balance for me. With the internal frame making my full kit (a Fujifilm X-T3 and three lenses, tripod, filters) easy to carry for distances, the back panel access keeps everything easily accessible at a moments notice. I don't find myself leaving gear at home, or missing shots because it's a hassle to get the camera out from the pack. Only negatives: The zippers could be better. They don't catch, but they're small and I worry about longevity. We'll see. Some attachment points for accessories get in the way of the zippers as well.

The best backpacks / El mejor Morral

The best backpacks, I have 3 of these for 4 years (kashmir, loka and anja), I have traveled with them around the world. As a nature photographer, I needed a good backpack that would allow me to take my photography equipment, and the additional one for a trip or trip to nature, these are ideal and resistant. I tried brands like LowePro (very bad bad quality) and others like Click Elite, good but bulky, however, FS-Stop are the best, along with Atlas Pack, if what they are looking for is a backpack for every occasion. The idea of interchangeable cases, allow to use the backpack both in the city and in the countryside.

Lacks features and misses the mark

I had high hopes coming from the F-stop Guru UL. I needed a little more space and was torn between the Kashmir and the Lotus. I loved how light the Guru UL was so upgrading to Kashmir made a lot of sense. Unfortunately, the Kashmir lacks a lot of the features of the Guru despite being a larger bag. I'll keep it simple with a pros and cons. Pros. Very light, comfortable, and a really nice size bag (not to big or to small). Cons. Pockets lack organization and the bag lacks structure despite having support rods. The pocket on the top is floppy and features a useless velcro pocket. At least one zippered subcompartment would have been nice. Overall the bag is floppy which I understand is the nature of the light material but I have plenty of Dyneema and xpac bags that don't do this. Conclusion. This bag is light and great for travel but the floppyness and organization of the bag are so bad that I'll be trying something else. Possibly the Shimoda or the new F-Stop DuraDiamond. I am still in search of the perfect camera bag!

I bought this backpack in Dec 2020.. It's perfect for my gear... I was able to fit my canon L EF 70-200, 16-35 24-105 and 5d Mark IV.. Hiked on the trail no issue at all. It feels lightweight..and fit gears perfectly..

Yes, the f-stop PRO ICU (Black, Large) will fit in the f-stop Kashmir UL Backpack (Black/Blue, 30L). The large takes up all of the room in the pack. But the manufacture does not recommend it and suggests using he medium size. f-stop Shallow ICU (Black, Medium) BH #FSM226 • MFR #M226 https://bhpho.to/3lMKLZH

How are the inner dividers in this bag arranged? The website shows zero photos of the inter of the bag.

The bag does not come with camera dividers. You have to buy a camera insert called an ICU to put your camera in. The bag is designed to have flexibility for how much camera/personal gear you carry.
