The LG UltraFine 27MD5KLB-B 27" 16:9 5K IPS Monitor is a Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C equipped monitor built for convenience. With Thunderbolt 3 supporting data, power, and video simultaneously through a single connection, users can simplify their cable setup. Specs-wise, it's built with an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel featuring a 5120 x 2880 5K resolution, a 1100:1 static contrast ratio, a 500 nits brightness rating, and support for up to 1.07 billion colors. Once it's connected, users can adjust its versatile stand to best fit their viewing preference. A convenient VESA mount back cover is included for those who wish to use own VESA wall mount, stand, or arm.

Thunderbolt 3
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
Power Pass-Through
For less cable clutter, the Thunderbolt 3 port also supports up to 94W of power delivery, so you can simultaneously power your MacBook.
macOS Integration
When connected to a Mac, this monitor lets users adjust display settings such as brightness and volume without having to use its hardware buttons.
Built-In Camera and Speakers
Thanks to a built-in camera and speakers, this display offers users video-chatting capabilities right out of the box.

Will this work for both Thunderbolt with a Mac and USB-C for Windows (non-thunderbolt)? Obviously not at the same time :)

I took my 2022 MBP and my work Levonvo PC into an Apple Store. We tried everything to get the LG Ultrafine monitor to work with the PC. No nachos my friendo. Zero. They tried 4 different configurations. Now, my LG Ultrafine is about 5 years old. There is a chance the older models do not work with PCs....and the newer ones do not? Beats me. But mind did not work and we had 3 Apple reps trying.
