The Movo Photo WMIC50 camera-mount wireless lavalier microphone system offers plug-and-play simplicity for mobile journalists, videographers, and vloggers in need of an affordable and user-friendly wireless system.

Whether you're interviewing subjects or shooting for a new video, the included lavalier microphone makes it easy to capture quality voice recordings. The microphone features a 3.5mm TRS mini plug for easy hookup to mic input of the bodypack transmitter. Attach the receiver to your camera shoe or a tripod and connect it your camera with the supplied cable.

The receiver and transmitter offer convenient audio monitoring via their headphone jacks; earphones are included so you don't have to provide your own. Internal antennas allow a sleek visual profile while enabling an operating range of up to 164 feet. AAA batteries (available separately) can power the transmitter and receiver for up to four hours.

Yes, the Movo Photo WMIC50 can be used with your camera as well as with your iPhone. You will just need to use adapters to connect the receiver to the iPhone. There are a lot of options for adapters that will work. You can use the new Comica Audio CVM-D-SPX(MI) 3.5mm TRS Male to Lightning Output Cable for Audio to iPhone (B&H # COCVMDSPXMI) connected to the output on the receiver or there is a new model coming out from Movo Photo, which is the IMA-2 Female 3.5mm TRS to Lightning Microphone Adapter Cable (B&H # MOIMA2) that will attach onto the receiver output cable included with the wireless system (or any standard 3.5mm TRS cable). As another option, you could use the Rode SC7 3.5mm Right-Angle TRS to 3.5mm Right-Angle TRRS Coiled Adapter Cable for Smartphone (B&H # ROSC7) combined with the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP). This simply means that someone behind the camera can live monitor the audio going through the microphone and into the camera, using the included earphone.

This Movo Photo WMIC50 only comes with a lavalier miccrophone, but if you like you can buy this system and add a seperate headset like The Polsen ESM-2-MN headset.

I have a samsung galaxy s10e. The CFP 1 trs to trrs cable does not work with the wmic 50. what's the solution?

You can use an adapter such as the Comica Audio CVM-SPX (B&H #COCVMSPX) or Rode SC4 (B&H #ROSC4) to convert the 3.5mm TRS plug on the system's receiver output cable to 3.5mm TRRS or use a different cable for connecting the receiver's output to the phone such as the Rode SC7 (B&H #ROSC7) which has the 3.5mm TRS and 3.5mm TRRS connectors already attached. Just make sure that the TRS end is connected to the receiver's output and the TRRS end is plugged all the way into the phone's 3.5mm jack. Sometimes you have to push on the plug to make sure it's fully connected to the phone. Certain phone cases can get in the way and prevent the plug from making a connection so just make sure that the plug is pushed all the way in and connected to the phone.

I see in the Specs that RF Frequency Band is 2405 to 2478 MHz. Question: I assume both the transmitter and receiver are switchable within that spectrum so you can use multiple units on a shoot? If yes, how many unique frequency choices are available?

This system does not have a specific frequency selection option, and we would not recommend using more than one at a time. For a 2.4ghz system you could use up to 8 systems at 1 time, we'd recommend BH #ROWG.

The WMIC50 wireless system can be used with an iPhone. You can use a cable such as the Thore 3.5mm Audio to Lightning Connector Aux Cable (B&H# THRC12GM) for an easy way to connect the Movo receiver's output directly to the Lightning jack on the phone.
