LG 27MD5KL Reviews
27MK43T-B. LG Monitor It's not on the list.
It's a great monitor for the right price. It's easy to use and the color looks amazing. My old monitor was going out and this is the perfect replacement. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget.
High resolution, excellent contrast and cheaper than Apple!
I needed a new system but waited months on Apple to finally update their monitor line. My need to go forward was damaging my work flow so I decided to try out this LG 5k monitor. Gee, it's perfect for my graphics which includes video and still images. And even if Apple catches up, this one works very well indeed, and for the price you can't beat it. Tired of waiting?...get this monitor now and you may find that you don't need to pay more to get the same result.
Great features, but subpar reliability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5K display worked flawlessly for about two years. Vertical lines, however, starting showing up. That was very disappointing considering that an older LG 4K display never presented that problem.
Best display ever!
This is the perfect replacement display for my Macbook Pro! I was using a handed down beautiful Apply external monitor until it died. I looked at the Apple options, but I believe this is no only the economical best choice and it is also functionally the best choice! It offers height adjustments & tilt options automatically and it paired immediately & seamlessly with my Macbook Pro!I love it!!
Crystal Clear Image
Pros: Crystal Clear picture, good brightness Cons: Speakers are only ok, refresh rate poor
Great monitor for a Mac
The LG UltraFine 27MD5K monitor is just fantastic. This is my second one, hooked up to my Mac Studio. The color and definition is spot on.I I brought up a LG 32 4K display that I use on an xBox a few weeks ago and along side to use with the LG UltraFine and the difference is like day & night and reflects the $400 to $1150 price of each monitor. If you use your Mac all day, get the LG UltraFine 5K. I think I bought the first one back in 2017 (also from B&H) and it has worked perfect, first on a 2013 MacPro and for the last 8 months on the Mac Studio.
Great picture, but it failed within first 30 days
Great picture, but it failed within first 30 days. As it was under warranty I was able to return if for free repair. That process took about three weeks.
Great Image queality.
I bought this a year ago to use with my MacBook Pro. It has worked flawlessly. The color and brightness are fantastic. I have to turn the brightness to 50% for everyday work and up to 100% for movies.
