No not necessarily, as others have said you might want to consider a Play5 if you do not need the portability. It is the best of their speaker line up.

The AC charging base is included. No need to plug Move in. Set the speaker on the included indoor charging base for quick power while you listen. Compatible with USB Type-C adapters that support either 12V / 3A, 15V / 3A, or 20V / 2.25A

The white Moves are confirmed to have them. Unfortunately the original units aren't confirmed to have them. That may change in the future.

How long does the battery last and is it replaceable?

The battery is replaceable, After about 3 years of use. The cost of a new battery is rumored to be around $80 dollars. Take out the 2 screws on the bottom under the rubber protection piece, slide the old battery out, and insert the new one.
