Covering a versatile wide-angle focal length range, the RF 15-35mm f/2.8 L IS USM from Canon is also characterized by its bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture. This bright design enables working in available light conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field. The range of wide focal lengths suits working in a variety of situations, from landscape to documentary shooting, and this zoom is complemented by an advanced optical design that greatly reduces color fringing and distortion for high clarity and sharpness. An Air-Sphere coating has also been applied to reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in bright conditions.
Complementing the imaging capabilities is an apt Nano USM focus system, which delivers fast, nearly silent autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override. An Image Stabilizer also compensates for up to five stops of camera shake to help produce sharper handheld shots in difficult lighting conditions. A unique Control Ring is also integrated into the lens design for intuitive control over exposure settings from the lens itself. Additionally, this 15-35mm is weather-sealed and has a fluorine coating to protect the front and rear elements.

Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS Reviews
Highly Versatile
Its awesome to finally own a lens that can go out super wide. Must have for street photography. I routinely photograph boardwalks and you can fit entire large carnival rides into the frame with relative ease with this lens. Colors are great and the IS works as advertised. Completely satisfied with both the lens, B&H's customer service, and quick delivery times.
great lens
I really like this lens, very sharp images
Great range, especially sharp on the wide end
Sharp lens. I sold the EF 16-35 f/2.8 L Mark II to buy this one and compared them extensively before shipping my old EF to its new owner. My conclusions were that the RF is significantly sharper at the wider focal lengths, but between the 30-35mm focal lengths, the two lenses are quite similar.
Stunning image quality!
Have been using the RF 15-35 for the past few weeks with my Canon R5 and have been blown away with the image quality. Corner to corner tack sharp at every focal length and image stabilization works wonderful. If I had to pick one complaint it would be the weight/size of the lens but I'm willing to accept that given the quality of the images this lens creates.
The Best Lens
It's the one lens that does it all.
Beautiful lens
I rented this and the regular RF 16mm to compare. Of course, this one is the best, in particular for low light action. Just beautiful!
15mm decentered and bad corner
I wanted to love this lens. I bought it new and have sent it in to canon twice to fix centering issues apparent when shooting 15-19mm. They were not successful. Not sure if I got a lemon but figured it out too late.
Nice lens
I am changing over to mirrorless. I already have the RF 24-105 f/4 L. I needed something fast and wide for basketball. This lens works well for that, and it does well as a portrait lens also.
