Meike MK-AF1 Reviews

They work perfectly

They are fine. They're just extension tubes--no optics or anything, just need to create space and provide a link from the lens to the camera, which they do fine. Electronics work just right. The single star downgrade is just because they fit quite tight to the camera--tighter than my lenses, while on the other hand, the covers that come with them fit very loosely. No big deal.

My Canon R6 Mark II autofocus would not work with these extension tubes. I tried with multiple lens types and focal lengths.

Unfortunately, this set up has not been tested in this manner so the results may vary.

Will these allow the use of a Z teleconverter with the Z 105mm MC?
Asked by: Scott
No, the Meike MK-Z-AF1 1mm and 18mm Extension Tubes for Nikon Z will only increase the magnification of the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro Lens (Nikon Z) by decreasing the lens minimum focus distance. Neither the lens nor the extension tube meet the physical design requirements to connect with the Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-1.4x or the Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x.

How much magnification will these lenses add (individually and collectively?
Asked by: Faisal
It depends on the original lens you are using these extension tubes with. If you are using a lens that is 100mm with 1x magnification and you add 29mm of extension tube to it, the magnification will become 1.29x.
