Edifier R1280T Overview

Enjoy audio from nearly any source with this pair of wood Edifier R1280T 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers. They feature two stereo RCA inputs, allowing you to have two source devices connected for easy switching. The speakers have a 2-way design with a built-in amplifier. Each speaker sports a 0.51" silk tweeter and a 4.17" woofer.

Designed for Enhanced Bass
The R1280T powered bookshelf speakers feature a 4.17" woofer and a flared bass reflex port to help deliver robust, rich bass.
Control Options
Personalize your listening experience with bass, treble, and volume dials on the active speaker. Micro adjustments of treble and bass from -6 to +6 dB can be made with the onboard controls, and digital volume is automatically set every time the speakers are powered on. A remote control is also included, allowing you to mute the speakers, adjust the volume, or power them on or off.
Dual RCA Inputs
You can connect two sources simultaneously with the dual RCA inputs.

When attached to a desktop computer, can they be left powered ON when not being used? Power switch is behind the speaker and not very convenient. No power button on remote either.

The Edifier R1280T 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers (Wood, Pair) is a stereo system. Both the left and the right channel connect to the right speaker and the right speaker has a speaker output, to send the left channel audio and power out to the left speaker.

If they're powered, how do they perform when hooked to a receiver? Is that possible?

You can't hook it to a receiver because it has an amp as one of it's functions. You can hook up a tuner to it, or another source component such as a CD player.

Yes they do have blue tooth 5.0 to be exact!! And they really do rock I added a crown D-75a amp and a 12" mtx sub threw the sub into an old Boston acoustics cabinet I had laying arround and it sounds amazing they really compliment each other well!! my neighbor came over and assumed I was running much larger gear lol he wanted to list of all my components to get the same setup!!
