The Xcellon Thunderbolt 3 Cable (3.3', 20 Gb/s)(BH #XCTB35201) is a good Thunderbolt 3 cable that can be purchased in three different lengths (1.6', 3.3', and 6.6'), and is fully compatible with the LaCie 1TB Rugged SSD PRO Thunderbolt 3 External SSD. See: https://bit.ly/3kavA19

If you have something like Paragon NTFS for Mac, then it could be formatted for windows and work on both OS platforms but exFAT is the way to go.

Is APFS not an option for reformatting the Lacie Rugged Pro SSD?
Asked by: Lance
Using Apple's Disk Utility, in the menu bar at the top of your display screen, choose View: Show All Devices, then when you choose the Erase option, Scheme: GUID Partition Map, Format: APFS, (use the (Encrypted) or not depending on your needs) and give it a name. Then click Erase. I had to search around the internets to find that.
