Add a cinema-style shoulder-mounted rig to your Blackmagic URSA Mini 4K, 4.6K, or Pro 4.6K cinema camera with this Camtree Hunt Shoulder Rig Kit from Proaim. This kit includes a camera cage designed to fit the URSA Mini 4K, 4.6K, or Pro 4.6K camera, a dovetail plate, dual handgrips, a rosette extension arm, a shoulder pad, a top handle, two sets of 15mm rods, a Camshade matte box with top and side flags, and a follow focus.
The camera cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, a NATO rail, a shoe mount, and ARRI-style rosettes, plus an extension arm with a rosette for an additional side handle. The dovetail plate mounts onto the bottom and allows you to mount the rig on a tripod, or the shoulder pad provides a comfortable handheld shoulder mount. The 11.8" rods mount onto the base and provide a mounting point for the follow focus, matte box, and dual front handgrips. The 7.9" 15mm LWS rods mount onto the top of the cage to provide additional mounting points for accessories and the included cheese-style top handle.
The included flip follow focus can mount on either side of the lens and includes an 0.8 MOD gear for standard cine lenses, and it also includes a gear belt, a magnetic marking disk, and a speed crank. The Camshade matte box features a 105mm lens opening with a fabric knicker, as well as top and side flags to control the light. It supports a fixed filter holder and includes a 4 x 4" filter tray.
The Camshade Video Matte Box from Camtree is a 15mm LWS rod-mount matte box with a 105mm lens opening. It features a built-in fixed filter holder and comes with a removable filter tray supporting 4 x 4" square filters. It also includes a top flag and side flags, with the side flags adjustable at multiple points, allowing for more flexibility in controlling light. The flags are made of aluminum while most of the rest of the matte box is constructed of industrial plastic, making the Camshade lightweight and easier to handle, especially when you're shooting handheld. The Camshade is also height-adjustable approximately 1" off the rod mount to let you align with your lens. A lens hood is also supplied.
The aluminum Flip Follow Focus from Proaim can be mounted on any 15mm LWS rod system and allows you to make smooth focus adjustments. The follow focus comes with a 0.8 MOD drive gear and an adjustable 0.8 MOD lens drive belt. The unit snaps onto the 15mm rods, so you don't have to remove other rod-mounted accessories to add it to your rig. It also features side-to-side adjustment, allowing it to work with different-diameter lenses.
A magnetic white marking disk is included for marking stop points, and integrated A/B hard stops provide physical stop points. A hinge connects the follow focus to the rod clamp and it can tilt up and down to easily adjust to wider diameters. The gear box can also be "flipped" to use it on the front or rear of the lens. A speed crank is included, and a focus whip docket on the follow focus allows you to use a separately available whip.
