I work with Sony A7r3 and a 24-70 GM...Which is best: Thic Crane 2 or the Weebill S and why? :) Thanks!

I personally own the crane 2 and plan on buying the crane 2s, so I would have to say I’m a little biased towards those gimbals, mainly because I’m used to the feel of those gimbals, and I personally don’t mind a little more weight because it feels more durable, and that’s definitely the reason why I’m picking up the crane 2s. I love that the crane 2s can handle my black magic pocket and definitely plan on buying the follow focus for it.

Does the easyrig really attach to the gimbal? If so, how exactly?
Asked by: danny
Everything that is needed for this operation is in the kit. The Crane-2 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer gets attached underslung to the Easyrig Minimax. The Kong Quick Release Adapter secures one to the other. The adapter comes with a 1/4"-20 eye-bolt that you can screw into the bottom of the Crane-2.

Hello. Currently have the Weebil Lab, and It doesn't seem to work well with my Z 6 and smallrig cage. The camera cannot slide over sideways enough to properly balance the roll axis, due to the cage hitting the arm of the Weebil. I am looking to get a more powerful gimbal that can handle this. Do you think this will be strong enough and have enough room in the mounts to properly balance with a cage on my camera? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Asked by: Jonathan
I have the Crane 2 and got the special plate for the GH5 and that combination works great with my E2 with the Nitze cage. I replaced the bottom of the cage with an Arca Swill plate from Smallrig. I mounted an Arca Swiss receiver on the gimbal for quick adjustments and repeatability. Everything works great together. The extra 10mm length on the S6 might be an issue. I haven't tried it with mine. Weight shouldn't be a problem.
