The most powerful fixture in the line, the Stella Pro CL 10,000c LED Light from Light & Motion is a daylight-balanced LED source with enough features packed into it to cause many users to call it their ideal on-camera source. For location work, the Stella Pro 10,000c is hard to beat. With a very small form factor and weight of 26.4 oz, it's barely noticeable in your kit case. What is noticeable is the clean, accurate color output from the unit's fully dimmable, flicker-free COB LED that earns it a high CRI/TLCI rating of 92/94.

The Stella Pro 10,000c has a wide 120-degree beam spread that can be shaped with optional barndoors, narrowed with a separately purchased 50-degree optic or 25-degree Fresnel, or softened with an optional diffuser. To keep the LED cool, a variable-speed fan activates automatically when output exceeds 5600 lumens, and it runs at low decibels for sound-sensitive locations. The negligible heat generated allows you to position it in confined spaces and shoot close to the talent without causing discomfort. It also keeps the studio cool, saving you AC costs, and that combined with the light's low power draw provides you with a rapid return on investment. The housing is durably built; not only can it survive repeated dropping on concrete floors from a height of 3.3', but it's also IP54 water-resistant.

The Stella Pro 10,000c is powered by the included AC adapter, but it will also run on 24V external batteries. The Stella Pro 10,000c ships with a YS Mount Pro, C-stand mount, and a high leverage handle for secure mounting. It also comes with a Profoto adapter to allow the use of their accessories.

Multiple Power Options

The light is easily powered by an AC or DC source including optional Gold mount/V-mount batteries with D-Tap (13-25V).

120-Degree Native Beam Angle and Modifiers

Light output can be easily narrowed to 50 or 25 degrees or diffused via press-on modifiers. A Profoto adapter ring is also included for their accessories, while the 10,000c's mount features an integrated umbrella holder.

High-Output COB (Chip on Board) LED

The light's COB LED eliminates the multi-shadow effect that can be a problem with panel-style light sources, while also keeping the continuous light's footprint compact.

Dimming

Dimming from 7 to 100% (in 700-lumen steps) with a control ring easily adjusts light output, while the OLED digital display provides precise lumen value.

Variable Speed Fan

An integrated variable-speed fan with low decibel levels automatically turns on when the light output exceeds 5600 lumens to prevent overheating the LED.

Flicker-Free Firmware

The sophisticated flicker-free firmware design was tested with the latest cinema-grade cameras.

Rugged Weatherproof Construction

Designed to perform in the most challenging environments, the CL 10,000c can handle inclement weather and is tested to resist 3.3' impacts on concrete.

question

What is the wattage equivalent of this light ?
Asked by: eric
Led lamps are not measured or rated in wattage like strobe or hot lights are. A rough guess is about 750 watts. The biggest issue with led lights also is they have much less a throw than hot lights or strobe. So say at 10 feet it might be the same as a hot light but then at 15 feet the hot light can be much brighter.

question

What is the recommended 24v dc battery package to purchase for this light?
Asked by: eric
I would like some clarification on whether this light actually needs 24V external power or not. Most V-mount batteries are 14.8V, only specialized ones can do 26V. Since the watt draw isn’t advertised either, it’s also impossible to calculate the amperage needed in addition to the voltage. My guess is that this thing can draw around 120-130 watts, so if you’re using a 14.8V V-mount you would definitely want one that can do 10A... L&M, can you clarify any of this? Is 14.8V okay?
