Got it for my wife for mothers day. She loves scrapbooking type projects so this seemed like a great fit for her. She's really enjoyed printing pictures from out recent beach trip and of our two year old. It's a fun and creative idea.

APP is badly in need of an upgrade

This printer could be use for a lot of things. But the APP is highly limiting. I made small invitations, it was a chore to accomplish. Why can't any application print to it; Lightroom, Word? I can't see long term use unless the APP gets better

I got this for a holiday gift last year and while it is cool to be able to print instant photos from my cell phone, the INSTAX Mini is incredibly small. Unless your photos are up close portraits, you might find it difficult to enjoy the results since the film is so small. I'm sure I would enjoy the larger models much better than the Mini.

what's the difference between this and the sp2 or sp3?

Quite late to respond. Button clarify, this is the SP2...it prints 2.4x1.8 images in 12 seconds and film is slightly cheaper. SP3 prints 2.4x2.4 images in 13 seconds, does not have bluetooth (uses wifi), has a removable battery, and the film is slightly more expensive. There are other differences as well.

The Instax Mini Link is an app driven printer. It requires a Blue tooth connection to a phone or tablet running the Mini Link app to print.

Unfortunately it will not work directly from the Fuji X-T3 camera. It will only work with a smartphone or tablet using the Instax Mini Link.
