The E6L Eagle Series Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod from Fotopro is a 5-section support made with 10 layers of 2K carbon fiber for a combination of great strength and lightweight portability. Designed with twist locks that disengage with a quarter turn, the legs quickly extend from a folded length of 24.8" to a maximum height of 63". With its independent leg spread and three variable leg angles, the E6L can be lowered to a minimum height of 4.9".

The 9.24 lb support set includes the E-6H Gimbal Head, which accepts Arca-style quick release plates and has a 33.1 lb load capacity. The gimbal design makes the E-6H head capable of supporting large telephoto lenses while smoothly rotating and swiveling for tracking your subject without losing it.

The E6L Eagle Series Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod from Fotopro is a 5-section support made with 10 layers of 2K carbon fiber for a combination of great strength and lightweight portability. Designed with twist locks that disengage with a quarter turn, the legs quickly extend from a folded length of 24.8" to a maximum height of 63". With its independent leg spread and three variable leg angles, the E6L can be lowered to a minimum height of 4.9".

Great tripod. Just fell shott

I thought that the gimbal was design with L Bracket would have eliminated the need to purchase an additional L Bracket to mount my camera on the tripod foe landscape oriented photos. This should have been mentioned in the product description. I ended up purchasing a Zelle adapter to compensate for.the short coming. Other than that the design and setup are great. Design and materials are outstanding.

I've had this for a few months now and REALLY love it- able to shoot birds on the wing now very easily, relatively quick learning curve. I'm a 65 yr old woman & typically use a canon 7Dmll with 150-600mm lens, so there is a bit of weight tromping out through the weeds to get to shooting locations, but it is VERY sturdy and I can balance it well over my shoulder all set up. It does come with a great well made & sturdy bag that is likely to last a very long time, too. Glad to see B & H is carrying it now- they weren't when I bought & I had to pay $200 more!

This Tripod and Gimbal Head is amazing. This is my 1st Gimbal head, and with only using for a very short while, 2 weeks, I can say it's a keeper. The rotation with my Nikon 200-500 lens is as smooth as silk. I have a L-bracket for my second camera so I can easily make the switch without changing heads on the tripod. I'm Still getting use to the legs on the tripod, my 1st tripod with the twist legs. I am finding it a little harder to carry from spot to spot due to the head being larger, but I'm sure I will adjust to it. Just takes time to know how to position it on my shoulder. I hang a sandbag on it when I'm shooting birds in my garden or I can hang my backpack on it when elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially for tracking birds.

I saw this tripod and gimbal head on Optic. It was shown with a bottom mount for the camera and not just a side mount. Does the customer need to buy another expensive gimbal head to have a bottom mount? or does Fotopro have a bracket that does this?

The cradle that swings the camera is included with the Fotopro E6L. It is not pictured but it is included.

What is the capacity? Specs show 22 lbs and a weight of 9.24 lbs. The E6 specs show half the weight and a capacity of 33lbs.

What tripod leg protectors fit this tripod?

The top leg section of this tripod has a diameter of 28mm/1.10in. The LensCoat LegCoat Wraps 107 are a good option. These are the correct diameter and cover 7 inches of length of the leg. These come in different colors. Here is a link to a set of these in Black. https://bhpho.to/3cBQS00. On this page you can select other colors and other lengths should you wish.
