So is this a WD100EFAX drive in the box or something else? WDBMMA0100HNC-WRSN isn't listed anywhere I can find!
Asked by: Greg
I ordered on a few days ago for my NAS and received the WD101EFAX (air filled). I was hoping for the WD100EFAX (helium filled) because I have four of those already in my RAID array and four empty slots and I wanted them all to match. I guess it doesn't matter. From what I can tell, the only real difference is it runs a few degrees hotter due to the air filled design instead of helium. WD100EFAX 36C/97F vs WD101EFAX 41C/106F.
