The Williams Sound FM+ PRO FM & Wi-Fi Assistive Listening System is a turnkey system designed to help individuals needing auditory assistance or language interpretation. It helps such users overcome background noise, reverberation, and distance from the sound source.
This system includes an FM T55 transmitter, which supports both FM and Wi-Fi, and works with both iOS and Android WaveCAST apps. Also included are 4 PPA R37N bodypack receivers, each featuring seek-button channel selection with access to 17 preset frequencies, as well as 4 EAR 022 surround earphones and 2 NKL 001 neckloops.
Ideal for large-group listening scenarios, the FM+ PRO provides crystal-clear sound anywhere within an operating range up to 1000'. The system is expandable with additional PPA R37N bodypack receivers (available separately) to accommodate any number of listeners. Also included is an ANT 005 coaxial antenna, an RPK 005 rack panel kit, an IDP 008 ADA wall plaque, and two BAT KT6 two-bay chargers with rechargeable batteries.
The FM+ Assistive Listening System from Williams Sound integrates professional WaveCAST Wi-Fi audio server technology, allowing end users to listen with either an FM receiver or with their own smartphone (via the WaveCAST Audio Receiver app). Along with this flexibility comes exceptional audio quality, as the FM+ is built on a professional digital audio (DSP) platform.
The FM+ is designed to support those who want to use their own smartphones and headphones for a more discreet assistive listening experience. Simplicity is also available for those who want a more traditional assistive listening system with a dedicated FM receiver and headset. Venues no longer need to choose between providing FM or Wi-Fi assistive listening systems. FM+ supports both the new iOS and Android WaveCAST Audio Receiver apps in addition to all of the current and legacy Williams Sound FM receivers operating on the 72-76 MHz bandwidth.
Most settings can be changed via the front panel interface, or over the hosted web interface. A remote programming guide is available upon request. The FM+ uses the WaveCAST app to provide an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface. You can easily select channels and volume level once your mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi network. (The app does not work on FM broadcasts.)
