This does give a bit of purchase on this camera (which is a small, flat-sided brick). The problem is that the grip is so small it isn't greatly effective at making the camera easier to hold. I have large hands and prefer using the camera in a cage with a larger grip.

A excellent compromise between grip size and grip function. Camera still fits in all the same places (e.g. my tiny ThinkTank Mirrorless Mover 5) but gives a much-improved secure grip. Very happy with it.

Unless you have tiny hands you need this. This pairs so well with the small rig half cage. This doesn't obstruct the batter door and it has a thumb grip point as an added bonus.

Together with the rear-mounting LVF-11 viewfinder, the fp (or the fp-L) are a dream to compose and shoot with.
