Also, a programmable control ring can be set for intuitive adjustment over a variety of camera and exposure settings.

Telephoto zoom is designed for DX-format Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 75-375mm equivalent focal length range.
One extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity and color accuracy.
Super Integrated Coating suppresses flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Stepping motor delivers impressively smooth, quiet, and fast autofocus performance that is well-suited to both stills and video applications. Full-time manual focus override is also possible and an internal focusing design is used, where only the internal lens groups are moved during focusing, to maintain the overall length of the lens during use and to promote faster focusing speeds.
Vibration Reduction image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 5 stops for sharper handheld shooting.
Programmable Control Ring is, by default, set to adjust manual focus but can also be used to control aperture or exposure compensation.
Specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism provides greater exposure control stability that is especially beneficial when working with fast continuous shooting rates.
Rounded seven-blade diaphragm promotes a pleasing out of focus quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field techniques.

Yes. See my review for a sample picture with this lens on the Z6. The crop makes it a 10MP camera but that is fine for a lot of work.

I have a Z 5 Does this lens fits without an adapter? and is this what they are talking about when they say 75-375mm-equivalent?
Asked by: Bill
Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR Lens will fit the Nikon Z5 without any adapter, but the Nikon Z5 is full frame and this lens is apsc. Due to that the lens will crop the full frame sensor of the Z5. Less than half of the available megapixels will be used. The angle of view will increase by 1.5x. It will be 75-375mm equivalent because of the 1.5x crop factor.

What is the difference between this and the S series Zmount lenses?
Asked by: Ryan
This is a Z-mount DX lens that will work fine on a Z6 or Z7-- It will not, however, utilize the entire sensor. You can expect a little more that 19 megapixels of resolution when its attached to the 45 megapixel Z7. Very early reviews describe it as an excellent inexpensive lens. It will not be as sharp or as well built as an S (professional) lens but it seems like a great lens to own for comparatively very little money.
