Works in OG BMPCC and cheap enough to buy a few. I don't like to write over work for a month or two so I can afford to have several.

I bought this to work with my BMPCC original and it works flawlessly. Gets me about 1 hour and 15 minutes while shooting raw video. And over 2 and a half hours in Prores HQ. Would recommend this to anyone in same situation as me.

High write speed at reasonable price: great for video

I bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. Many cards only list the read speed up to xxxMB/s, but they don't tell you the write speed which is critical for raw video recording. This card is comparable in performance to the much more expensive Scandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SD cards. And I can confirm it works properly with the original BMPCC, which is very picky about which SD card it supports. I used Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on Macbook Pro to test the read and write speed of this particular card, and here are the results averaged over multiple runs: - Write speed: 83.6MB/s - Read speed: 89.0MB/s I shot video at 1080p30 Cinema DNG Raw in the BMPCC OG and there seems to be no missing frames so far. I plan to buy more of these cards for my longer video features. Overall a highly recommended product for these type of high bandwidth HD video needs.

Working fine in BMPCC OG.

Card doesn't drop frames and is recognized by the camera, no problem. Thank you.

No crashes even after the camera fell on the asphalt. Also, there are no failures during long-term storage of photos. Reading speed at 64 GB is 90 mb/s. Kingston card reader is also very good. Great memory card for a great price

How many minutes of raw video can you shoot with the Kingston 128 GB card?
Asked by: Walter
It depends on the camera that you are using and also the frame rate selected. On the Canon R5 at 8K Raw you can record 6 minutes of video on a 128GB card. I would also recommend getting a faster CFExpress type B card for the Canon R5, because Raw needs a very fast card. A V30 SD card would drop frames as it is not fast enough depending on the camera that you are using and the bit rate used.

Does this work with the original BMPCC?
Asked by: William
We are sorry to say that Blackmagic does not have an up to date list with the current selection of SD Cards on the market to determine what does and does not work with the original Pocket Cinema Camera. This may work, but we are not aware of any specific tests that have been done with it.
