Da-Lite Model B Reviews

So far, I AM VERY PLEASED!

Got it hung up. Used the DA-LITE ceiling hangers. My son-in-law helped me. It took less than an hour. Used it for the first time last Sunday (7/1/18). Worked great. Screen manually lowered and retracted with little effort. Our Epson 3000 lumen projector worked great with the screen from about 15 to 20 feet away. Nice and clear. I would highly recommend it for those looking for a cost effective alternative to the higher priced electric models. Price was great from B&H and received it in just a couple of days. Glad I purchased from B&H with free shipping, even for an 8 foot long package.

Amazingly Projection

The model manual projection screen (96x96) is fantastically amazing. Itself has a really good price for a way too big screen that you can put/attach to a wall and/or ceiling. For its size, it doesnt feel that heavy, it has a nice white look as well.

What a bargan!!!

This screen is being used in an art gallery. It's huge, it's sturdy, has great contrast, and it's made in the USA. What more can one ask for?

Exactly what I needed!

I wanted as big a screen as possible to mount on my Photek background support system. I purchased two heavy duty carabiners at the local hardware store so I could hang the screen on horizontal bar using hanging hooks on screen. Now I have a portable, fairly inexpensive, 9' screen! :)

Good Screen

Recommended screen with projector I bought. Simple install and price was right. Have hanging in front of window, large business, in sunny Florida. Thought I would need to hang curtain to block light. Was not a problem at all. Of course picture looks better in the dark but have had no complaints. Picture is bright and clean all day long.

Excellent screen for the money

For a basic, no-nonsense digital projection screen, this one is hard to beat. We own two at church/school and I purchased these for another organization doing a promo event. Matte white finish is high contrast and coil spring system to retract screen is reliable over years of use. True 8' x 8' square format allows any proportion from 1:1 to 9:16 widescreen. Just put it down to taste.

Easy to install and use, bright picture

We use this screen in an Art Guild building - it easily mounted to a wall and is immediately available when needed. Our old screen was free-standing and was a real hassle to move, set up and put away.

question

Hello, I was wondering if the screens develop a wave in it, after a while? We had one, tripod and after a few years, it did. Thanks

Mine definitely has waves in it. Pull-down will, as far as I know, almost always develop waves unless they are tab-tensioned , which is very expensive. That being said, it's unnoticeable with the image projected. And mine might be a special case because the projector screen stayed open very often and was in front of a window
