Bought it on Aug 25, 2020 for $1899. One week later, the price became $1799. After I received the monitor, I had to update firmware to resolve flicker issue. It is a good monitor. But at this price, it can be better.

Verstile Monitor with Great HDR

This is hands down the best monitor I've ever owned or used. The spec that mostly accounts for this monitor's high cost is the Display HDR 1000 certification. HDR content looks amazing thanks to the FALD backlight with 512 individually lit zones and over 1000 nits peak brightness. Within a single frame, certain areas of the image can be very bright while others are close to pitch black. One drawback is that while the number of games that support HDR is decent, I wish there were more. Luckily it seems that most AAA releases moving forward are supporting it. Even in non-HDR games though, this monitor's specs are impressive. As far as I'm aware, you won't find any other WQHD ultrawide monitors with 200Hz + Gsync currently. I like that this is great for both demanding HDR games and 'esports' titles where framerate is a higher priority. I'm running this with a 2080 Super and haven't had trouble running games like CSGO and Valorant at 200 fps at 1440p. I'm definitely not hitting those numbers in more demanding games like Far Cry 5, however. These are the settings I'm using, based on some other review's I've seen (mainly Hardware Unboxed's video): -Extreme overdrive -200Hz -FALD on A couple common complaints I've seen mentioned in other reviews are the loud fan noise and a flickering issue in games. I have not experience any flickering - I believe this was fixed with a firmware update that my monitor already had installed. Regarding the fan noise, it's definitely audible at times, mostly while gaming though. I haven't noticed excessive fan noise during everyday use. This is a nonissue for me, but I can see why others would find it annoying.
