The Perfect Plain and Simple Bag

This Billingham bag doesn't have all the bells and whistles other bags have but I love it the way it is. I easily fit my Leica SL, several vintage lenses and my wallet in the bag. I thought I would miss all the extra pockets other bags offer but I just throw any little bits and bobs in a little drawstring bag that I toss into the bottom of the Billingham and I am good to go. If you want a classic, no frills bag at a decent price, that will last you a lifetime, then this one's for you.

This is my seventh Billingham cases since 1995. The little guy gains its position cause of the lightness. The relative wide body provides a good platform to rest my MF camera on top of it when I am cruising around.

This is a high quality bag and a great size for my Leica Q@ and some extras. I think they're overpriced at MRSP, however, on sale at 50%, it's definitely worth it. I wish it had a leather handle on the top and a little more secure way of securing the top. But, all in all, it's very high quality and worth it, on sale.

Like all Billinghams, this one seems just as well built as the others I own. I have no doubt it will outlast most of my other gear. It's on the smaller side, but the simplicity of the interior allows me to rearrange things as necessary.

Hopefully I'll use it for travel - when it'll be permitted.... I plan to carry a Nikon D750 with battery grip fitted with a Nikon 24-120mm f4 and a SB-800 flash. This setup is perfectly accommodated by this bag. There is a space inside - well protected - for a tablet like an iPad Pro 10.5 that I have or for other small items like an extra battery, cleaning stuff etc. The bag is exceptionally built inside and out with protection all around. A handle on top will be welcome, but being small is easily movable without it.

I purchased this bag for its simplicity. It's just as nice as other Billingham bags I've owned. This fits my GFX 100S with 45-100 on its side with hand grip ready to go. Filters and extra batteries go in the inner sleeve area. No need to fuss with pockets, zippers, etc.
