It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.

The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard sensitivity for close miking saxophones, horns, and brass instruments and features a flexible positioning arm for precise microphone placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a 2.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics M170, M170-BGO, M170-LS, M170-XLR, M175, and M175-LS wireless bodypack transmitters.
