It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.

The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version offers a standard sensitivity for close miking saxophones, horns, and brass instruments and features a flexible positioning arm for precise microphone placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a TA4F connector for direct connection to MIPRO older ACT-707T, MT-103, MT-303, MT-801, and MT-808 wireless bodypack transmitters.
