The black I2 Acoustic Guitar Microphone Kit with 2.5mm Waterproof Locking Connector for Lectrosonics MM200, MM400, MM400a, MM400b, and MM400c Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been built from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.

The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and positions the acoustic guitar mount and pickup on the center hole of this instrument. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a 2.5mm waterproof locking connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics MM200, MM400, MM400a, MM400b, and MM400c wireless bodypack transmitters.

Polar Pattern
A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very high rejection for sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.
