What are the dimensions of this bag with the top rolled down vs. fully extended (and closed)? Is the 50L specification for a fully extended roll top?
Asked by: timothy
13" x 8.5" x 21" with the top rolled all the way down, and 13" x 8.5" x 27" with the top almost fully unrolled (still with one roll so that it can close properly).

2 questions: How well does the Sony A7rII ...

2 questions: How well does the Sony A7rII (ungripped) fit into the Medium DSLR Core Unit Version 2 vs the Medium Mirrorless Core Unite V2. From what I can tell the different between the two is the DSLR core is deeper. I may occasionally want to bring a 2nd Mirrorless camera body. I would also normally bring 2-3 lens one being a Sony 70-200mm with Foot attached. Is the Medium DSLR core a better option in this situation? 2nd question: How well will the core unit fit into a traditional backpacking pack (65L). For longer backpacking trips I would rather just have a core unit and just place it in a larger pack.
Asked by: Joshua
The DSLR Core Unit would be a better option--it's about 1.5" deeper than the Medium Mirrorless Core Unit. A Core unit will easily fit into a 65L pack.

How well does the Sony A7R II (ungripped) fit ...

How well does the Sony A7R II (ungripped) fit into the Medium DSLR Core Unit Version 2. I am considering this size as I may want to carry two camera bodies (but not all the time) along with my 70-200mm lens with the foot installed. Or is the Mirrorless core unit still better fit?
Asked by: Joshua
The Medium DSLR Core Unit V2 would be fine to hold 1 or 2 Sony A7R II bodies without battery grips and your 70-200mm with the foot installed.

Will the X30 fit the medium core DSLR compartment ...

Will the X30 fit the medium core DSLR compartment or do I have to buy the X50? For reference, I have a Nikon D850 with a really right stuff right angle bracket on it, 70-200 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, and probably grabbing the 14-24 soon. Thanks for any and all advice!
Asked by: Matej
The X50 would be better suited for a larger body like the D850 and the lenses you wish to hold.
