Can this core unit fit in action x30?

Can this core unit fit in action x30?
Asked by: Debraj
I contacted Shimoda concerning your inquiry. According to the manufacturer, no, the Shimoda Designs Medium DSLR Core Unit Version 2 would not be compatible for use with the Shimoda Designs Action X30 Backpack. The only Core Units compatible with the X30 are the Small Core Unit and the Medium Mirrorless Core Unit V2, but not with the DSLR Core Unit.

Does a Canon 5D mark iii with 100 400mm L ii fit ...

Does a Canon 5D mark iii with 100 400mm L ii fit inside?
Asked by: Benjamin
I would think that they would fit fine. For reference, in mine I have a Canon 5D mark IV with an L-bracket attached, 17-40mm L, 70-200mm F4 L, vintage Nikon camera with two lenses, battery charger, and some misc accessories. My 70-200 fit's fine laid down with room to spare. I keep an accessory pouch on top of it because the is a lot of extra room depth-wise. And there is still another 1.5" or so length-wise available. While your 100-400 is a little bigger than the 70-200, I believe there is enough room for it to fit fine. Honestly, it took me a while to Tetris this thing properly, but I was able to fit more than I thought I would. It's bigger than it looks in the photos, well, to me at least. I would upload a photo of mine for reference, but I can't seem to do that. Anyways, hope that helps.
