Does this trigger work with the Hasselblad X1DII?

Does this trigger work with the Hasselblad X1DII?
Asked by: James
Yes, it does, either for flash or remote camera triggering. To trigger a flash, you can use either the PC port or the hot shoe. If you wish to trigger the Hasselblad remotely, you should be able to use the CM-E3-ACC cable: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/633054-REG/PocketWizard_802_456_CM_CE3_ACC_Pre_Trigger_Cable_for.html

If i want to connect my sony alpha camera to yongnuo speedlite yn560 iv, it will work right?
Asked by: Safwan
The PocketWizard Plus IIIe 2-Transceiver Kit will work with Sony cameras using the Sony multi interface shoe. For Sony cameras with the older Minolta Type shoe you would need the Sony Auto-Lock Shoe Adapter linked here to use the PocketWizard with the camera. https://bhpho.to/3vYbXKF. The Yongnuo YN560-IV has a PC sync port that can be connected to the PocketWizard with the cable included with the PocketWizard.

Which cable would I need if pairing this receiver to the Sony A7C mounted via hot shoe. I can't seem to identify which cable is compatible and required since the A7C only has USB Type-C or Micro HDMI for interface options. Please forward the SKU. Thank you!
Asked by: Tim
No. The radios would need a hardware change to be able to trigger it via the USB Type-C connection.

The Plus IIIe radios are a great option for the Canon mirrorless cameras. You can use them to trigger a flash or add a remote camera cable and trigger your camera remotely.

Two questions: Will these work with older PWs? And the PW website says they've been tested and worked out to 3 kilometers (5 miles). I'm pretty sure 3 kilometers is around 1.8 miles...so can I assume the shorter, non-parenthetical distance is the right one?
Asked by: Guy
Hi Guy - The Plus IIIe comes with the E Release firmware factory installed. If your older radio is a Plus, Plus II, MultiMAX, or something even older, then you will have to downgrade the new Plus IIIe to the Legacy firmware in order to communicate with your older PocketWizards. Downgrading is easy using the PocketWizard Utility available at wiki.pocketwizard.com. You will be able to upgrade again at any time, and you may do this as often as you like (at no cost). However, if your "older" radio is another Plus III, Plus IV, or FlexTT5 for Nikon, those can be upgraded to the E Release firmware. Go to wiki.pocketwizard.com for more information. We are working on updates for the MultiMAX II and other Flex radios. Thank you for catching our math conversion error! We will fix that. We actually were able to transmit and receive from a distance of 5 miles - line of sight! We had one radio on a hilltop and another radio on a boat in the middle of a lake!

Is this works with old Film cameras with hot shoe mounts?
Asked by: Safwan
The Plus IIIe radios will work with virtually any flash or camera (including film cameras) that can be triggered by a hot shoe or sync port, in manual mode, up to the camera's X-sync.

Does it work with Nikon Z6 II?
Asked by: Michael
Yes, the Plus IIIe radios work well with the Z6 II and can sync a flash up to X-sync. Be sure the hot shoe is not disabled (there are a few settings that turn it off) If you want to remotely trigger the camera, you will need the N-MCDC2-ACC cable: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1000492-REG/pocketwizard_802_503_n_mcdc2_acc_1_pre_trigger_remote_cable.html
