The description is confusing. It says this can work with a battery powered condenser microphone however this furnishes 48v phantom power. Will a battery powered mic plugged into this transmitter cause damage the same way a battery powered mic would cause damage with a +48v phantom powered camera system like a GH5? Will a battery powered mic extend the usage time beyond 5 hours?
The UT3 transmitter does NOT supply +48V phantom power. It can be used with battery-powered condenser mics and dynamic mics which do not require any power source. When using a camera that can supply phantom power for a microphone, there is typically a switch that allows you to select whether phantom power is on or off to allow use of microphones that do not require phantom power.

Since this furnishes +48v phantom power, won't this damage a battery powered condenser microphone?
The Xvive Audio U3T transmitter does NOT supply +48V phantom power or any type of power at all to a microphone. This transmitter is intended for use with either dynamic microphones (which do not require power) or with condenser mics that use their own separate battery to supply power for the mic. The transmitter's built-in Li-ion 3.7V rechargeable battery is used only to provide power for transmitting a wireless audio signal to the receiver.
