Manfrotto Element MII Tripod with Ball Head Overview

Turning the twist leg locks disengages and extends the legs along the rapid center column to extend the tripod to its maximum height of 63". As part of the tripod, the Arca-type compatible ball head has a main locking knob to control the ball movement, and an independent pan-locking knob for the 360° rotation of the head. The ball head comes with the 200LT-PL-PRO technopolymer quick release plate, which is a light version of the standard 200PL-PRO. The plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss and Manfrotto RC2 quick release systems. The head's load capacity is 17.6 lb, so it can support a mirrorless or large DSLR camera without difficulty.

New setup is Sony A7RIVA with Sony 24-70 f/2.8. Very excited for new camera day. Never bought a tripod before. Would this be sufficient? I know the 28-70 lens is bulky compared to the body. Last thing I want is a tripod that will tip over because it is top heavy? Any experiences with similar setups using this tripod or recommendations for something better suited would be greatly appreciated!
Asked by: Jason
Yes, the Manfrotto Element MII Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head (Red) (B&H# MAMKELMII4RD) would be a good tripod and head for your a7RIVA. It would be stable. A good tip is to always push down on your tripod with your hand before putting your camera on it to ensure stability.

Will the photo clicker that comes with it, work with camera or is it only for mobile?
Asked by: Anushan
As far as we are aware, this does not come with a "photo clicker". Furthermore, most basic "photo clickers" only work with smartphones and not cameras. If you need help finding a wireless remote shutter release for your camera, please reach out via email or live-chat and we can assist you!
