As part of the tripod, the Arca-type compatible ball head has a main locking knob to control the ball movement, and an independent pan-locking knob for the 360° rotation of the head. The ball head comes with the 200LT-PL-PRO technopolymer quick release plate, which is a light version of the standard 200PL-PRO. The plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss and Manfrotto RC2 quick release systems. The head's load capacity is 17.6 lb, so it can support a mirrorless or large DSLR camera without difficulty.

Manfrotto Element MII Tripod with Ball Head Reviews

Don't forget the plate!

Bought this to travel back home to take family photos and it is light and very portable (stowed it under the airplane seat in front of me easily). It expands as advertised and feels solid/robust, yet plenty agile. Make sure to pack all the little accessories in the carrying sleeve because I forgot the plate with the screw attachment and had to cinch my camera down with rope.

Very Nice Travel Tripod

The Manfrotto Element MII is a light weight (3.5 pounds), well made travel tripod. It is aluminum (I guess) and is finished very nicely. The legs can be extended with three collapsible sections held by twist locks (not flip locks). The legs end with a rubber pad...no ice points are included. The tension of the legs when closing can be adjusted with the supplied Allen wrench. Legs can be in the Normal position or widened out for a Splay stance if preferred. Packs into a nice 17 inch length. Comes in colors but only a small amount of decor on two of the legs shows any color. One leg has a foam grip good for wet or cold days. The Center column can be adjusted up and down and can be reversed for lower camera position. Stands up to 63 inches. Came with an Arca-Swiss Ball Head and a Manfrotto RC2 QR Plate. The ball head is easy to adjust and the two knobs allow for independent horizontal and vertical positioning. The plate is called Quick Release but it needs several turns of a knob to be released (does not have a quick release lever.) Carrying case has string for closing and carrying, not the usual flat strap. A nice travel choice especially when on sale. Richlionx

For sure is worth it. It's a really solid tripod, with a really small form factor and it's also really lightweight. It also offers some functions like the possibility to set your camera upsidedown. The ball head is awesome for photography.

Better than I expected

I've always used somewhat cheap tripods against my better judgement. Upgraded to this 3 legged hero and I don't regret it. The only thing I'm concerned about is the pinch plastic inside the twist locks. I haven't owned the tripod long enough to know how it'll uphold but it's still much more solid than my last. Packs up easy. We'll see what happens in the future. I do recommend this product.

Used twice. Leg refuses to fold. Stay away. Complete waste of money and time.

Will the photo clicker that comes with it, work with camera or is it only for mobile?
Asked by: Anushan
As far as we are aware, this does not come with a "photo clicker". Furthermore, most basic "photo clickers" only work with smartphones and not cameras. If you need help finding a wireless remote shutter release for your camera, please reach out via email or live-chat and we can assist you!

Will this tripod safely support a canon t6i with a heavy sigma 600mm zoom telephoto lens. Does it come with a plate?

The plate it comes with is plastic, so I wouldn't trust it with a 600mm.

Yes, but I would not recommend it, this tripod has a ball head and is not meant for video shooting. A pan tilt head is what should be use for video. Click the link below to view a better choice; https://bhpho.to/3fngugj
