The Apple 32" Pro Display XDR 16:9 Retina 6K HDR IPS Display is built with a 32" IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel featuring a 6016 by 3384 6K resolution with Retina display technology that produces crisp, vivid images. As somewhat of a one-size-fits-all solution, the Pro Display XDR is well suited for multitasking and its 6K resolution with a 32" viewing area is plenty to work with. For photo and design-focused users, it's a large canvas that lets you fit all your content, tools, and anything else you'd like, on one screen. Likewise, video editors and audio engineers can stretch out their workflow to get a macro-view of their project. As a cherry on top, its 218 ppi (pixels per inch) rating helps to deliver sharp and detailed images. The Pro Display XDR's main connectivity option is a single Thunderbolt 3 port, which supports up to 96W of host charging, and it has three USB 2.0 Type-C ports for charging and syncing other devices. With the power of Thunderbolt 3, users can daisy-chain up to six displays to their accompanying Mac Pro.

Apple Pro Display XDR Reviews
Nice but expensive display
Although this display was released in 2019, it is still not out-of-date with over 1000nits illuminance and 6K resolution. I tried to find a cheaper replacement for one year before finally purchasing this one. However, the only replacement will be done by Apple itself maybe in 2023. Other miniled or oled monitors do not have such high resolution.
Stellar but overpriced
If this was OLED and 120hz, I think it would better justify the price. Still looks amazing and the build quality is, of course, top notch. The stand is a big improvement over the old Thunderbolt Displays.
No Stand
This monitor is the best BUT be aware it has no camera or speakers, to be expected at this level, but it also ships with no stand nor means of mounting. The $1,000 Apple stand allows it to move up and down about 3 each way. To mount to a much less expensive (about $70) moving arm requires a special Apple bracket costing over $200. WONDERFUL 6K monitor, but be prepared when the box shows.
Amazing display
I love the Pro Display XDR. I prefer standard glass over the nanotexture because it maintains a higher level of sharpness, contrast, and clarity. Everything on this display is vivid and you are really able to immerse yourself in the photography or films you are editing. The color accuracy is also excellent.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
sure, you expect only the best for a screen at this price! and it truly is. i love it!
Fabulous
I do lots of monochrome work, resolution, toning, especially in darks are incredible, true blacks! In color work its capability provides a great mechanism to get it right!
Add another $1000 for the optional stand
For Apple, to sell a premium display without any stand whatsoever is a question for the ages. We've placed an order for this display, and after 6 weeks on backorder it finally arrived. Unfortunately, there is no way to actually use it out-of-the-box. There is no basic stand of any kind included. This is the equivalent of Mercedes selling a new S-Class, with the engine being offered as optional equipment. Apple ought to know better. Not everyone needs a $1,000 dollar stand that pivots and tilts in a million directions. A basic stand should be part of this display, otherwise the product is incomplete. We're beyond disappointed with Apple's lack of common sense and logic here, and truly wonder about their decision making.
All great!
Bought it in 2021. All great! I am expecting to use it for a next 7 years at least! Probably will buy another one. Only one moment: if you are working on post production and they going to send you zero-client. So...you can't use it with XDR. Any other workflows - you are going to enjoy of every second of using this beauty! p.s. Egrotron display arm is pretty good replacement to Apple's stand.
