Thank you B&H for spending so much time on the phone with me to get this order all dialed in and I am happy with the results. Details matter and we went over all my options to get the best photo monitor possible on my budget. It is nice to have someone knowledgeable to speak with and answer questions. Everything arrived right on schedule as promised within days. I needed you and you delivered! Thank you also for the color calibrator !

Good performance, when it works

BenQ delivers competitive products. Unfortunately they suffer with quality issues and short life spans. I've had 2 SW320s. The first one did not last a month, with backlight issues. The second one was intermittently displaying a vertical purple line and eventually failed completely when it was 6 months out of warranty. Sadly BenQ said it could not be repaired, as the LCD panels are no longer available. I loved the monitor when it worked, but I would not purchase it again knowing the better unit lasted just 3.5 years. If your budget is limited and you care about the environment, I suggest you look at alternatives. Buyer beware.

Be prepared if you look at old photos

By Dan

I tell all my friends to avoid buying this monitor because as soon as you do, you will want to look at all your old photo edits on it. When you do that you will realize that the things you that were white were really only almost white. The things you thought were black were almost black. The skin you thought was beautiful was actually a bit too orange. All this because you edited on a monitor that was lousy compared to this one. Admittedly the price tag was hard to swallow when buying a first pro-level screen, but having now experienced the difference, I would spend it again without a blink. My customers have taken notice and asked What's different lately? Your photos have gotten much better! It's a painful compliment, but affirms the decision to put a professional quality screen between my professional camera and my final product with customers expecting professional results. If I had to list a negative, it would only be that I have not yet figured out how to make some old ROES programs take advantage of the resolution, so they end up being very very very small on the screen.

Changes the experience

I now have two of these monitors side by side. Using them for photo development and office productivity. Having the extra size of these, even with only one monitor completely uplifts the user experience. First the extra space let's you layout more work visibly. This immediately increases productivity vs having to keeping going back and forth between windows. Second the resolution and color tonality makes photo processing easier, faster, and higher quality. It also is easier on the eyes. I highly recommend this model

You can use a thunderbolt 3.0 or USB-C 3.1 Docking Station with multiple display port outputs and the required cables for the monitors. The Dell D3100 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Docking Station (DED3100), would get the job done.
