NiSi 82mm HUC PRO Nano IRND 1.8 Filter (6-Stop)
Key Features
  • 64x Filter Factor, 6-Stop
  • Darkens Entire Image
  • Reduce Shutter Speeds
  • Widen Apertures
The NiSi 82mm HUC PRO Nano IRND 1.8 Filter is an ND filter with a 64x filter factor that provides a 6-stop exposure reduction. Its 1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters are intended to not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

Are these the same glass as that found on their cine versions?
Asked by: Diego
I contacted NiSi concerning your inquiry. According to the manufacturer, yes, the NiSi 77mm HUC PRO Nano IRND 1.8 Filter (6-Stop) uses the same optical grade glass as used in their standard square filters and their Cinema line filters. They state the only filters in their inventory that use B270 Schott glass would be the filters in their 100mm wide Explorer line, which are not available in the circular format.
