Can I use the SD card slot to store images to show - and if so - how many pictures / how big of an SD card can be used?
Asked by: Stefan
There is a micro SD input available on the back of the Canvas. These can be used to store and display images on the Canvas. Supported images/videos are: jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, svg, gif, mp4, and mov. Only 4 playlists can be used on a single SD device. However, there is no limit on how many images each playlist can contain. The size limit for videos is 200 MB. The size limit for images is 20 MB. While the manufacturer does not list a maximum memory card size that would be compatible for use with the Meural 27" Canvas II Digital Art Frame, they do state that the most popular size for use with this frame is 64GB.

Is there a way to encrypt pictures so that a photographer's images can be protected - to only show on the frame but not be printable/emailable?
Asked by: benjamin
There is no way to stop someone from photographing the image in the frame. This frame has no encryption properties. You may encrypt photos on your computer with software. Photos can be saved as documents as a .pdf file. Select the “Encrypt document with a password option,” then enter a password (twice) as prompted. You can also watermark your images with software.
