The StagePro 24" High-Bright Presidential Teleprompter Pair Carbon Fiber Kit from Prompter People is a self-contained, easy-to-travel complete solution including two high-bright monitors, two beamsplitters with stands, a distribution amp, extension cables, and two medium-sized hard travel cases. Although there is included prompting software for use with your computer, the prompters themselves can be used with virtually any prompting software and system that outputs over 3G-SDI, HDMI, or VGA. Each self-reversing high-bright monitor features 1000cd/m² brightness, 3G-SDI, HDMI, and VGA inputs, and are powered by 12 VDC using the included power adapters. An included HDMI distribution amp and two extension cables allow you to send the text to both prompters at the same time.

Assuming this come with prompting software, can you use them with any software without issues?
It will work with any software, There is a flip button on the monitor which you can repeatedly press to get what you need without any other devices. I just used it for the first time and presses flip twice and I was good to go.
