Leofoto PG-1 Reviews
Very nice
I've given this only 4 starts, as I have only used the gimbal a couple of times. The items comes well packages. It has a nice box and in the box was a very nice semi-padded carry case. It came with a arca-swiss style plate. Instructions as well as an included hex key. The ball head seems very well built. The controls are wonderful. Some people do not like that it takes a few turns to lock things down tight. However, by having to turn 'so many times' it does let you set a tension that works for moving without it being totally locked down or totally loose. I use a Canon R5mkII with an EF200-400 f/4 on this head and it has been very stable. Unless something happens, this is a 5-star item. I just want to use it a bit before I say it is perfect.
Leofoto PG-1 Gimbal Head
This is my second gimbal head and had to adjust to the location of the control knobs, especially the one on top. So far all of the knobs secure the head and lens in place and the motion is fluid. I would recommend this head as a good choice similar to the Katana Pre gimbal with a good price point.
