An especially sleek and lightweight prime, the FUJIFILM XC 35mm f/2 is a 53mm-equivalent lens offering a natural, normal-length field of view with an especially portable design. The lens incorporates a pair of aspherical elements to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to achieve high sharpness and accurate rendering. A stepping motor autofocus system promotes quick, quiet, and accurate focusing performance and the rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes a pleasing bokeh. This simple feature-set fits perfectly with the lens's petite design that makes it an ideal every day, walkaround lens.

FUJIFILM XC 35mm f/2 Reviews
Hard To Beat For The Price
Loving this lens so far. Super sharp and quick autofocus. Can't think of a better option for $200. Must-have for any beginner photographers.
Much smaller than I thought
When I got it in the mail, it didn't impress me - but after walking through the neighborhood and surrounding area with it, the image quality was amazing. It looks a little strange on my x-t3 with battery grip because its so small, but the image quality is great, even wide open.
Great value
If you want a great prime lens for your Fuji X that isn't going to bust your budget, this is it. It's a fast lens at F2. It takes good closeups.

Love it
Quite good
I like the size and build quality is pretty good but while it has very good sharpness in the centre and stopped down find the corners a bit blurry at wide apertures.
Excellent quality.
Great lens. Hardware feels sturdy and is easy to use. Incredibly crisp image.
Middle of the Road
First the good stuff... the price is obviously excellent. The optics are nearly identical to the 35mm f/2 WR (just less quality control on this lens so you may get a dud here and there). That's where it ends. And I know you don't get something for nothing, but I'm not expected too. What I haven't seen in all the reviews, and why I finally decide to write one (to bring perspective to the 5/5 average rating here), is the comments on how fast the autofocus is, and the CFD (close focus distance). I don't care that it's a mostly plastic lens (the optics are glass thankfully), but the slow focusing and lack of close up are deal breakers for me. Especially the focusing speed which to me is a huge step backwards for the X system in general. For a hundred more you're getting into the used price range of the 35mm f/2 WR which is very fast to focus, weather sealed, better built, and has an aperture ring. The CFD on the WR is still similar, but to me it's worth upgrading in price just a bit regardless.
Yes, as good as the WR version
Okay, the optics are equal, but ergo-wise, this one is better: the grip area for manual focus is wider and easier to handle. Just a word to the wise...
