An especially sleek and lightweight prime, the FUJIFILM XC 35mm f/2 is a 53mm-equivalent lens offering a natural, normal-length field of view with an especially portable design. The lens incorporates a pair of aspherical elements to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to achieve high sharpness and accurate rendering. A stepping motor autofocus system promotes quick, quiet, and accurate focusing performance and the rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes a pleasing bokeh. This simple feature-set fits perfectly with the lens's petite design that makes it an ideal every day, walkaround lens.

FUJIFILM XC 35mm f/2 Reviews
Much smaller than I thought
When I got it in the mail, it didn't impress me - but after walking through the neighborhood and surrounding area with it, the image quality was amazing. It looks a little strange on my x-t3 with battery grip because its so small, but the image quality is great, even wide open.
Quite good
I like the size and build quality is pretty good but while it has very good sharpness in the centre and stopped down find the corners a bit blurry at wide apertures.
Excellent quality.
Great lens. Hardware feels sturdy and is easy to use. Incredibly crisp image.
Questionable build quality
The first lens I ordered was defective. Everything worked fine mechanically, but it produced strangely soft images. The center would be sharp but almost everything else has a fall off look. Took some group photos at F4.5 and only the person in the middle was sharp--all other people, even the ones on the same row/plane, were a smeared mess. One of the internal lenses was probably misaligned at the factory or during transport. The replacement I got was much better. Produces sharp and clean images. Great bargain lens if WR isn't important. The lack of aperture ring is fine because using the front grip dial is faster anyway.
Great!
Fantastic inexpensive lens. Very sharp. f2 produces great bokeh.
Sharp, good lens, just a little sub-par in look and feel.
You get what you pay for. The optics are identical between this lens and the XF version, but the casing is consumer level and unappealing. If you don't mind the look on your handsome Fujifilm camera, then buy it.
Great value
If you want a great prime lens for your Fuji X that isn't going to bust your budget, this is it. It's a fast lens at F2. It takes good closeups.
