Fringer FR-FX20 Reviews

Works w/ my lenses

I used two lenses with the adapter and they work relatively well: Sigma Art 17-35mm F1.8 Canon 50mm F1. 4 I don't have a comparison how these lenses perform on a Canon body. AF on the X-H2S is not ideal, with the Sigma performing better. On the Canon it gets sometimes lost completely. In quite some situations, the focus wheel with the sigma is constantly wiggling. I don't see an effect in the picture but it is also quite loud (so an issue for video).

This adapter is solid, sturdy with a snug fit on both ends of the mount. AF response from Canon glass is excellent, you couldn't ask for a better FX to EF adapter option.

Works perfect on X-S10

I chose the 'standard' EF-FX II rather than the 'Pro' version as I use the front dial button to control aperture with my X-S10. Use it with my old EF-S lenses; 55-250 STM, 60 macro, 10-18 wide angle and EF 50 1.8. Upgraded firmware to version 2.0. All lenses focus fast, accurate l and produce great results. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Have this permanently fitted to the XS-10, I find it works well with the 17-40 L and 100-400 L Canon lenses.

Very happy with the adaption of EF lenses to my Fuji X-T30. Unlike a cheaper eBay alternative this fits both my X-E2 and X-T30. All my EF mount lenses (Canon and Samyang) fit the Fringer perfectly. Autofocusing with my Canon EF lenses seems to function just as good as on my Canon DSLR.

All good. Worked as expected

I bought this adapter to use Canon EF 24-70 L, EF 100mm 2.8 L Macro and an EF 50mm 1.8 STM lens with a Fujifilm X-T4. They all work perfectly, recognized by the camera and the information is set on the Exif. Aperture and autofocus control worked without any problem. Focus works fine but not exactly as native on Canon bodies. The lenses focus correctly but slightly slower than on a Canon body. The 100mm macro was the worst with lots of hunting focusing on short-range. I never used the focus limiter on my Canon bodies but this time it became handy fixing this hunting. Maybe on a body with more capable autofocus, like the new X-H2S, these lenses will perform as on the native body. This adapter is very well built, all-metal and the finish looks premium. My only regret is that I should have gone with the more expensive model that includes the aperture ring. I got used to this ring on Fuji lenses and having to set it via one of the programmable dials in the body feels awkward.

Surprised it works that well with old EF lenses

I am satisfied with this adapter. Feels a bit tight on both sides for the lens and the camera mount but it sure is sturdy! Tried it on ef-s 17-85 and I was surprised how loud that lens was. Don't know if it is because of the adapter. Took me a while to find a cable that wasn' t just for charging. It's good though!
