Presenting an immensely wide field of view within a truly compact package, the Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye provides a huge 210° angle of view for FUJIFILM X mirrorless cameras. As a circular fisheye, this lens is characterized by its noticeable distortion and bulb-like visual appearance. The greater-than-180° angle of view also enables making full 360° stitched panoramas with just two shots. The lens also sports a bright f/2.8 design for working in available lighting conditions and its manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 3.1" away for true close-up shooting. Additionally, the fisheye design retains almost full depth of field when stopped down to f/5.6 for consistent and even sharpness.

Venus Optics Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Reviews
Clips top and bottom on m43
I've been very impressed by Laowa lenses, however, while the Laowa 4mm is tiny and pretty sharp, on m43, it clips the top and bottom. So you get kind of an odd shape, not quite a full circle. You can put a black circle on top of the image using Photoshop but I sold the Laowa and bought the Meike 3.5mm which gives the full circle.
A great novelty lens
Lots of fun. Rather long learning curve. Using on an a6000, battery compartment isn't so visible. Must be mindful of things under over or near camera. Consider finger amputation for clear edges.
Great Fisheye for the Price for Fuji
Aperture Ring and Distance Ring from close to infinity work smoothly....Hard to mount and dismount to camera use the lens Cover to help rotate the lens. Takes Great Pictures and Easy to use, had to crop out my feet in some pictures, and used a rail and cable release so my hands were not in the picture. Worked great at the Botanical Center.

Love a wide angle lens and for the price this is a great little fisheye lens
Crazy fun lens!
Sharp, crisp circular images with this unique 4mm, f2.8 fisheye lens from Laowa. Fully manual lens with a robust focus ring. Easy to use but take care not you get your shoes or fingers in the 210 field of view! I love this lens!
Lots of fun and unique perspective...
This lens is tiny but produces big images. Good sharpness and contrast that can really be brought out during post processing.
Wild, fun images are possible.
This little lens is a niche purchase. The circular images it produces are really interesting and encourage the photographer to think a lot about what he/she is trying to capture. The beyond 180* angle of view is problematic, though. It works great on my Sony a6000, which doesn't have the larger battery grip that some of the later a6xxx models do. Also, I find it necessary to attach the camera to a selfie stick so as to remove any inclusion of thumbs in the frames. Using the LCD instead of the EFF is encouraged. For this price, it's worth it.
A fun lens
It is so wide angle that at the bottom of the photo you can see the bottom of my shorts and on the right my finger that was on the camera grip. Lesson there is don't hold the grip but pinch the shutter button from behind. Also discovered you need decent grip strength to mount and dismount the lens on the Z50. Not a whole lot to grab hold of on the lens and I don't think you'd want to use the focusing tab as leverage.
