I have cases from a boat load of manufacturers. Asus is the best. BUT whatever you do, do NOT forget to lock this thing up to something that so you wont lose it. Its a slick drive and I have already lost one, with the 980pro 2tb in it and that hurt. Otherwise, this is what you need to get if you want a case that brings value to the table.

Window shopping is nice but buying is way better.

Even if you don't know what you're doing this has got to be the easiest device to use and the fastest alternative to a USB thumb drive or external Hard drive out there. It's extremely portable and can carry so much storage its almost unnecessary but very convenient

Good M2 SSD enclosure

Overall a good enclosure for a M2 SSD, bad thing is that it can't fit a SSD with a heatsink already on it. The enclosure will accept the M2 w/heatsink but you can't close the lid.

Well Built and Solid NVMe Enclosure

Purchased this to store my backups. Case is solid metal with no plastic which helps with heat dissipation. It does get warm but not to the point of it being a problem. Installed Samsung 870 Pro with no problem and achieved 1.8 Gbs transfer rate using USB C 3.2 Gen 1. There is some weight to the enclosure, but I see this as a plus in terms of durability. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a well made NVMe enclosure.

Works exactly as intended and looks great. I recently updated to PCIE4 and had a spare 1tb WD NVME. I was able to eliminate the 2 USB drives I usually carry with me and have extra space for anything else I may need to store on the move. The drive in the Arion is partitionable so you'll be able to address compatibility issues with different OS. I have one as my Windows 11 installation, 1 as an NTFS and one as a FAT for compatibility. To top it all off, assembly was quick an easy. The included key (similar to a SIM card eject key) adds a little piece of mind for protection.

Long term storage that failed. This item worked great from the beginning; I/O connection was blazing fast. This was a back-up and NOT in regular daily use. Then it started constantly (every 10 seconds or less) to disconnect/reconnect. Strangely that minimizes after I uninstalled Armory Crate! It still did it but not as often (every 2 minutes). I did put a different M.2 into it... No change. I would rather have a Sabrent. And I say that because I have a 4 bay SATA that has never failed me!
