I was told not to touch the remove provided by cable company, but how do I get cable programs on demand I pay for?
You would have to use your cable box remote to get the on demand content. Your cable box remote should be universal and be able to control basic functionality of the TV if programmed to do so.

What is the vertical viewing angle? This will be installed above eye level.
Hi Adrienne, thanks for inquiring about the TV. The best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend looking away from the TV every now and then or try watching it from a different viewing angle.
The recommended distance for watching a 4K TV is 1.5 times the TV's vertical screen size. Check the table below for further details about the recommended viewing distance when watching a 4K TV.

Can this TV pass ATMOS over ARC? I see it has ATMOS, but no mention if it will pass it. Some TVs do and some do not. Also, I see questions here asking how wide it is with different staff responses between 60-66''. Surely a 42'' TV can't be either of those.
It can not pass Atmos over ARC. The TV is 38.19" wide.
