Sleek and versatile, the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM is a well-rounded zoom covering wide-angle to short telephoto focal lengths to benefit working in a wide variety of conditions. A variable maximum aperture also helps to maintain an impressively compact profile to suit everyday shooting needs. Complementing the flexible design is a unique Center Macro Focus position, which enables working with close-up subjects at a 1:2 maximum magnification ratio, and an Optical Image Stabilizer also helps to achieve sharp imagery by minimizing the appearance of camera shake. Also, an STM motor affords impressively quiet and smooth autofocus performance and full-time manual focus override. Additionally, a configurable Control Ring lets you adjust exposure settings, including ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation, from the lens itself.

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Reviews
Great clarity
Great lens, excellent clarity for a non prime lens. Took a lot of great shots with this. Very pleased with my purchase
Great lens!
A very versatile, lightweight lens with a wide range of shooting capability. Very sharp lens.
Sharp and Economical
I read several reviews before buying this lens instead of the MUCH more expensive L version and I haven't been disappointed. Lightweight and extremely sharp it fills a need for quick access on the run.
My go to lens
EOS R - IS and a moderate zoom in a small package
LOVE IT
Very light and compact; downside is the small f stops, but works well in low light conditions with flash!
Love it
My go to lens for the EOS R
Not as sharp as I had hoped
The price is good. The coverage is good. Its a good lens; but, even in sunlight it was not producing the kind of sharpness that I had hoped for in an RF lens. I'm getting better images on my R5 using my old EF lens with an adapter.
Outstanding all rounder
I recently took this as my only lens on a trip to Dublin Ireland and was not disappointed. I managed to catch some great, clear, and sharp shots both outdoors and in. The constantly changing Irish weather was not an issue and the 24mmwife end was great for portraits and group shots and the 105mm gave me the reach for longer shots. Even in the dim interior of Trinity College Library I was able to get good shots with relatively little noise. Yes it would be better if this was a f/4 through the range but for the coast and the weight savings it was worth the trade off.
