B&H has put together this Genaray 3-Light LED Studio Product Kit for image makers who want to make the most of a lighting setup with all the modifiers you need to lend your work a signature look. The kit includes three Genaray Endeavor ML-33K Daylight LED Monolights with 7" reflectors, a BoomBox 36" and a 48" Octagonal Softbox for flattering light, and an Impact 24 x 36" PortaFrame Scrim Kit. The expansive Scrim Kit includes five folding, locking frames with several fabrics, as well two "dots" and two "fingers" for smaller items. For further control of beam width B&H has included 10, 20, 30, and 40 degree grids that snap into the Endeavor's reflectors. An 86" steel boom arm is also provided to elevate one of the lights overhead.
With its familiar, user-friendly form factor, the Endeavor ML-33K Daylight LED Monolight from Genaray is a versatile and highly powerful light source that boasts an impressive 33,000 lux output at 3 feet that will bathe your subjects in bright daylight-balanced light. The COB LED emits its beam from a compact area for a traditional single-shadow light, and it provides soft, circular edges with the bonus of round, natural-looking catchlights and reflections. Great for video shoots, the Endeavor emits a flicker-free beam that eliminates unwanted strobing effects when shooting at high frame rates for slow-motion video or high-speed imaging. The Endeavor's 5600K color balance blends seamlessly with ambient light on location or with other daylight fixtures, and its extremely high CRI/TLCI ratings of 97.5 and 98.5 are your assurance of superior performance and accuracy in color reproduction. Genaray has also considered locations dominated by tungsten lights by including an amber conversion filter. The light also features 0 to 100% flicker-free dimming in 10-degree increments, opening the door to high-speed shooting for slow-motion applications, while maintaining its high CRI/TLCI ratings no matter the chosen power level.
One of the Endeavor's outstanding benefits is its power options. It features multi-voltage operation from 90-240 VAC worldwide use, and for shooting in locations where AC power is unavailable, separate purchase of Genaray's BA-VMOUNT-E adapter will allow you to run the light on two V-mount batteries. The light has a wide beam spread of 120 degrees for ample coverage, but since it employs the widely used Bowens front accessory mount, Genaray and manufacturers' modifiers can be used to shape and control the Endeavor's output. For further light-shaper compatibility, the light's 5/8" receiver has a channel for optional umbrellas. A well-known benefit of using LEDs is their very low generated heat. The Endeavor draws just 150W and employs a thermostatically controlled fan and built-in heat sync ports that regulate the internal temperature, allowing for close-up shooting without causing the subject discomfort, as well as extending the LED life to 50,000 hours.
In addition to all the features above, the Endeavor extends control options. The fixture has a built-in 16-channel, 5-group receiver, and while you can adjust power levels locally on the fixture, you can also make adjustments wirelessly at distances up to 100' with the separate purchase of Genaray's Lightseeker 2.4 GHz remote transmitter—a very valuable asset when lights are hung overhead or mounted in out-of-the-way places.
The BoomBox Octagonal Softbox with Bowens Mount V2 from Angler is a 48" octagon-shaped softbox designed for use with monolights, flash heads, and LED lights with Bowens reflector mounts. The lightweight and portable BoomBox is an indispensable accessory used for quickly setting up a light in the field or in the studio. It opens up like an umbrella and eliminates time-consuming softbox setup with an integrated speed ring and flex rods.
The BoomBox features a reflective silver interior that amplifies the light and throws a punchy, specular beam, ideal for when an image needs contrast and sharp detail. Its removable front diffuser and inner baffle provide a soft wraparound light great for portraits and fashion, while its classic octagonal shape directs light and prevents spill, while providing natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. It also features a removable deflector plate that transforms the box into a beauty dish-style light and helps eliminate potential center hot spots.
The BoomBox is as easy to open as an umbrella. Great for in the studio or on location, the BoomBox folds up just as quickly as it sets up. The integrated aluminum support rods are attached to the umbrella mechanism to provide rigidity to the box, so it keeps its shape when attached to a light stand or other support, even in demanding outdoor conditions.
The BoomBox is outfitted with a Bowens S-type 144mm adapter ring for use with a large variety of monolights and studio flashes. Optional 144mm rings are available for use with Broncolor, Elinchrom, and Profoto lights.

The 24 x 36" PortaFrame Scrim Flag Kit from Impact contains some of the lesser-known modifiers in imaging, though they have a maximum effect on a production's subtlety and nuance, especially in close-ups. They also provide the ability to selectively light larger areas. The kit is comprised of five folding, compact, metal flag frames that accept sleeved fabric modifiers that are stretched into the 24 x 36" shape when locked into place.
For use with the frames, the kit comes with a 1/2-stop Black Single Net, a 1-stop Black Double Net, and a Black Light Blocker. A 1-stop and a 2-stop Silk Diffuser are also included in this size.
Dots and Fingers are used to modify small areas of a subject or location. This kit includes a 1/2-stop 6" Single Black Net Dot and a 6" Black Light Blocker Dot. For more linear light modification, two 4 x 14" fingers, one 1/2-stop Single Black Net, and one Black Light Blocker are included. All of these scrims are mounted onto optional grip heads, articulated arms, or accessories made for that purpose. The included carry case has inner compartments and pockets made to keep the components of the kit organized and at the ready.
Dots and fingers: 0.2 to 0.3" / 5.1 to 7.6mm
The 10° Impact 7" Grid helps you control your light more precisely: this honeycomb grid, which will fit any standard 7" grid reflector (other than Broncolor or Profoto), gives you a very narrow 10° beam of light, perfect for an accent light or spot. A tension spring can stretch or arch to fit the reflector.
The Impact 7" Grid (20 Degree) helps you control your light more precisely: this honeycomb grid, which will fit any standard 7" grid reflector (other than Broncolor or Profoto), gives you a very narrow 20° beam of light, perfect for an accent light or spot. A tension spring can stretch or arch to fit the reflector.
The 30° Impact 7" Grid helps you control your light more precisely: this honeycomb grid, which will fit any standard 7" grid reflector (other than Broncolor or Profoto), gives you a narrow 30° beam of light, perfect for an accent light or spot. A tension spring can stretch or arch to fit the reflector.
The 40° Impact 7" Grid helps you control your light more precisely: this honeycomb grid, which will fit any standard 7" grid reflector (other than Broncolor or Profoto), gives you a 40° beam of light, perfect for an accent light or spot. A tension spring can stretch or arch to fit the reflector.
Designed for overhead lighting, this chrome-plated steel Boom Arm from Impact telescopes from 46 - 86" and supports up to 8 lb at maximum extension. Features include a ratcheting pivot clamp handle and rubber-coated section above its counterweight hook for comfortable, secure height adjustment. The boom has a 5/8" receiver and is an ideal match for heavy duty wheeled stands like Impact's LSP-SW10 9.5' Steel Roller.
